Modern Teaching Facilities
The recognized need to have trained and qualified pharmaceutical personnel having in mind the goal of a better patient care pharmaceutical services, was the basis of a decision to establish the Kilimanjaro School of Pharmacy (www.ksp.ac.tz) for training lower and middle cadre (i.e. Pharmaceutical Assistants & Pharmaceutical Technicians) pharmaceutical personnel as a training institution of SLF in September 2002.

MAIN OBJECTIVE
SLF is engaged in Training and Support Services for Pharmaceutical and Health Systems Strengthening and currently owns and manages three main programs.
To carry out Training and Support Services for Pharmaceutical and Health Systems Strengthening in response to the demand for improving pharmaceutical services in Tanzania and other African Countries.
ESTABLISHMENT /WHO ARE WE/PROFILE
SLF premises are located within Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center (KCMC) Compound in Moshi Municipality –Tanzania since 1991.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT) is the founder and owner (i.e. Settler) of SLF that appoints members of the Board of Trustees to manage the property, business, and affairs of the Trust. SLF Board of Trustees (SLF-BT) is the chief decision-making organ of SLF. The SLF Executive Director (ED) is the Secretary to the Board responsible for the administration and management of SLF affairs on all matters. KSP Principal is the head of the school and the chief accounting officer responsible for all matters of the school related to the quality and delivery of training programmes.
